Itchy

My iMac's hard disk died. Yah, I didn't backup. I didn't think my machine would die so soon. Didn't even spot any symptoms. Then one tragic day, and it couldn't start up no more. Wonky.

So I'm using my sister's computer watching a hamster eat brocolli on youtube, and sending cooshy internet sms to mister, and then I spotted this file on my sister's messy desktop (34 randomly arranged icons on a 13 inch screen). The file is named "Mgmt of Itch.pdf".

Recent advances in the neurophysiology and molecular basis of itch include the use of microneurography to demonstrate the existence of a subset of itch-dedicated afferent C neurons distinct from neurons which transmit pain; use of functional positron emission tomography (PET) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the brain to reveal an itch-specific activation matrix
