Helvetica

I found out that Switzerland is officially known as the Swiss Confederation, or Confoederatio Helvetica in Latin. Oh, so that is why Swiss francs are denoted as CHF.

"The Neo-Latin name Confoederatio Helvetica was introduced at the formation of the federal state in 1848. It is derived from the name of the Helvetii, a Celtic tribe living on the Swiss plateau before the Roman era." (Wikipedia)

Helvetica, the clean sans serif font, is named after a Celtic tribe.

One thing after another...

After MUCH persuasion from the mister, who even offered to help pay, I bought myself an iphone, even though I thought I would only need a phone for sms and calls. Now, I think, hoooooow can anyone just use a phone for sms and calls?...The iphone spoils u in a crazy addictive manner. It becomes impossible to get back to using a normal phone without feeling like a monkey without a banana... You have been warned... and i am happy.
